Using FareGrid.
These terms apply to FareGrid's public-beta flight and stay search and optional account. Flight and stay booking checkout remain disabled while the legal operator, business address, support details and final consumer-rights wording are completed and reviewed.
1. The service
FareGrid helps you search and compare flight offers returned by a third-party supplier. Its accommodation-rate integration will become active when Duffel approves Stays access. During the public beta, customer payment, airline order creation and accommodation booking remain disabled.
2. Prices, rates and availability
Flight prices, schedules, baggage information, accommodation rates, room availability and cancellation terms can change or expire at any time. A flight result may exclude optional extras unless specifically included. A stay result may include amounts payable at the accommodation; FareGrid displays these separately when the supplier provides them. Display currencies other than GBP are exchange-rate estimates only. No accommodation rate is reserved by viewing it, and the supplier's current rate and conditions must be checked again before any future booking.
3. Test data
When FareGrid is connected to a supplier test environment, flight or stay results are clearly labelled as sandbox or test results. They are illustrative, are not current market offers and cannot be booked.
4. Payment authorisation and confirmation
When flight checkout is activated, Stripe will handle payment on a secure hosted page. FareGrid will authorise the total first, attempt to create the Duffel airline order, and capture the authorised amount only after confirmation. Until that activation is announced on the site, FareGrid does not accept customer payment or create airline orders. Accommodation checkout is not currently implemented.
5. Supplier contracts and travel rules
The flight is operated by the identified airline and is subject to that airline's conditions of carriage and the selected fare's change, cancellation, baggage and refund rules. FareGrid is not the operating carrier. Accommodation stays are provided by the identified property and are subject to that property's rate, payment, cancellation, check-in and house rules. FareGrid is not the accommodation provider. The legal operator's precise agency and merchant role will be stated here before booking checkout is activated.
6. Changes, cancellations and refunds
Flight change/refund eligibility and accommodation cancellation/refund eligibility depend on the selected supplier terms, applicable law and any disclosed FareGrid service terms. Do not assume a flight fare or stay rate is refundable. Final service-fee refund rules and customer cancellation procedure must be legally reviewed and published before checkout is activated.
7. Your responsibilities
- Enter complete and accurate search and, where booking is enabled, traveller or guest information.
- Check passports, visas, entry rules, health requirements and travel documents with official sources.
- Do not misuse, disrupt, scrape, overload or attempt to bypass the security of the service.
- Do not use FareGrid for unlawful, fraudulent or commercial resale activity without permission.
8. Accounts
An account is optional for flight and stay search. You are responsible for protecting access to the ChatGPT account used to sign in. Any future booking history is provided for convenience; supplier and FareGrid confirmation records remain the authoritative booking references.
9. Availability and changes
The pre-launch service may be changed, suspended or withdrawn without notice. Features may be incomplete and errors may occur. FareGrid does not promise uninterrupted availability.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, FareGrid is not responsible for airline or accommodation operations, supplier changes, missed travel or stays, indirect loss or decisions made from expired, incomplete or test information. Final consumer-law wording and any liability limits will be reviewed before booking checkout is activated.
11. Privacy
The Privacy notice explains how the current build handles flight and stay search information, account data and prepared flight-booking information.
12. Updates
These terms may be updated as the service develops. The current version and revision date will be published on this page.
